It’s Saturday Morning…

…everything’s going great.

We’ve been out on the open road for 8 weeks. Now we’re heading home to help celebrate cuz today is Papa-Bear’s 83rd birthday … only 4 hours away…

We stopped to switch drivers and I discovered the trailer brake lights had failed.

Went to the closest T.A. and after 3 hours of putzin with it, they couldn’t fix the problem. So now we have to sit (can you say “down-time”) till Monday to go to a trailer shop cuz we can’t (won’t) drive without trailer brake lights and trailer shops are closed on WEEKENDS.

How stupid is that?

Truck Drivers don’t get WEEKENDS off and truck drivers always have trailers in tow …. so … why do trailer shops close up on weekends? Ponder that!

Any way … here’s the view out the front window …. we’re parked at a T.A. in Missouri, just sittin’ … waiting for Monday morning to get here.

Oh …. those empty spaces will fill up soon …. in case you were thinking about coming here to park your rig ; )

It’s nap time…
