Log: Day 370

Veggie-N-Sausage

Veggie-N-Sausage

Well, I have been remiss in keeping my daily log this past week! Pardon that.

It’s now 2:29am… or 02:29 in military time and getting close to teeth-brushing time.

We sat in a customer dock today for 5 hours…

While there I took advantage of the opportunity and made a yummy meal that Jai and I devoured forthwith! (see picture above – and video coming soon to ‘Semi Gourmet’!)

The truck got cleaned.

The dishes sitting in the dishpan got washed and utensils waiting their turn for boiling water and soap are all washed and put away.

I had time to rummage around on the internet and take care of a few business things (bills)…

It was a good day, though I would have preferred to hit Los Angeles anytime other than 5:00pm!

Aside from that, I had a great drive and managed to stop at the Tonopah, Arizona, TA to switch over. I have waited five months to get back to this spot.

Why Stop in Arizona?

Because of “Herb the Knife Guy” of course!

There’s a little knife I could have used 100 times over the last few months and this evening I was able to pick it up.

Jai got his knife for Christmas (watch video). I got mine for… hmmm …something in April. I don’t know what but that’s okay. Sometimes it’s just because.

Love my little knife and it was great to see Herb. He’s been at that TA for 27 years selling knives. Very cool guy!
