We picked up a relay, at a Pilot, in Mountain Home, Utah, day before yesterday.
Looked like a good trailer. My pre-trip didn’t show any problems.
After 100 miles, I had to stop to visit “the little girls room”!
When I came back and did a walk-around, a problem did show up… the airbag on the right side of the trailer was disconnected! I knew I heard something – and just goes to show that a walk-around is always a good idea.
After calling the problem in to Road Service, I headed for the nearest TA, which happened to be 132 miles away.
By 3am Central Time, Jai was ready to take over and the repair had just been completed.
Jai pulled out of the service bay, only to discover a light was out on the back of the trailer!
When he headed back to the service bay, they said it would be 4 hours before they could get us back in. Well… “screw that…” he said.
Jai went in the TA and bought a light and repaired himself. Yay! We were finally back on the road after a 3 hour repair. Only…
…as soon as he got on the road it started to snow. Hard. He had to shut down after 320 miles. There were 30 mph winds and it was impossible to see.
When I woke up, we were in Laramie, Wyoming, one of the most notorious windy areas in the country. It was windy. However, our load of 18,570 lbs., seemed to handle it ok.
I made 570 miles today. A good day.
Was able to get on the Bellicon twice today — when it was really needed. I stopped in Nebraska and headed into the women’s bathroom for a bounce session. It was wonderful!
Made a great dish today. Jai said, “That’s one of the best meals I’ve ever tasted.”
I’ll have to do a video on this one. But for today I was in a big hurry, so didn’t get to do it. It will have to be added to the list though… soon.
Well, it’s time for a face wash and a nap!
Love you all!
