  1. I have a mini rebounder. Not a Bellicon. Someone gave to me years ago. I am currently recovering from a health challenge that left me w/limited mobility. I used to sit on it & bounce. But haven’t even been able to do that! But I have made myself walk my outside 15 front steps some; swept front porch/steps last Friday. Mainly sit all day w/ice packs under feet! Get up make water in my non-electric purifier; etc. Make water for friend studying for finals this week. Have shared w/her some GOOD Healthy nutritious foods, etc.
    Looks like u may have a Sanguine personality-OUTGOING like myself! Another reason why I like U! But also your topics! And the fact u r doing something I only thought of doing when I was much younger! I’d driven p.t school bus; taxi cab; a couple friends were teaching me the basics of driving semi but as I shared THAT wasn’t God’s will for me either! Glad to see more women out there! Some of them look so FRAGILE but I KNOW they’re NOT cuz how can they do all they have to and still look so dainty! As Terri Hall uses Nutri Bullet! Also into Nutrition! I have 1 also. But I am trying to GAIN! Any suggestions? I know I need to start lifting my ‘smart’ bells (only got 3 LB) but that’s a start. Or start w/LB cans. DESPERATELY need to strengthen my CORE! Turned 60 in JAN. MAY spend all day/all week looking at your blog! Enjoy that much! \0/\0/ Blessings!

    • Hi Dawn,
      Great to read your post. Thank you for posting… and pardon it took me awhile to see it. A very busy couple of weeks schedule-wise. That said…. I think it’s wonderful you have a rebounder. Any rebounder is a good thing. It’s a LOT of exercise, so do be gentle with yourself if you do use it right now.

      As for gaining weight… in my experience the body does an amazing job of balancing it-self when using “food combining”. This has worked over and over with people I’ve personally witnessed and for myself and Jai. Check out the Food Combining links on this web site and see what you think! And of course… eat 🙂

      Lifting weights can be a good thing… if you take your time and use really good form. I have found it helps to have a trainer who really understand weight-lifting to help out. I worked with a fantastic trainer in LA for awhile. He taught me so much I didn’t know! It made a big difference. Good form is the key though.

      For the core… the best I have found is Pilates. It simply amazing and far less stressful on the body. There are many pilates videos on YouTube for core movements. I use them everyday!
